B&B U Palmentu - Taormina

The position of the hotel was nice, to get down to the city centre. A few times I ate at Ristorante Cutiludissi, located around 10-15 minutes walk from the property.

The stay was excellent. I loved staying in this beautiful place. Got good-sized, fashionable room on the top level. Excellent staff and the location was stunning.

The comfort, cleanliness, space and design of the room. Also the location is magnificent. The views over the sea, mountains, and city of Taormina are beautiful

The breakfast was too simple and of just fair quality. It will be helpful to inform guests of the winding and narrow road to access the premises

The building is a tastefully and recently renovated stucco house. The room was spotlessly clean, and included a balcony with a view of the northern coast, which Reached al the way to the Italian mainland. From the patio out the front door I could see Mt. Etna and the seaside of Taormina. The Taormina castle is literally rigfht next door. The room and bed were definitely large and comfortable enough for a couple. I stayed at B&B U Palmentu for 4 nights in August, 2012. I chose U Palmentu based on excellent reviews, but I was concerned about the location, since I had to attend a conference in central Taormina each day. I sent an email to the B&B and was relieved when I received an immediate reply. While I stayed at U Palmentu, I received help every time I asked. This included a taxi pickup at 4:45 AM that cost much less than the taxi I rode from the airport.

The location was great and stunning for exploring the quiet area. Our room had a lovely bed and an amazing view.

Location quite far up on the mountain therefore takes a while to go downtown or to the beach

we thoroughly enjoyed a great meal in the morning. the view over the sea and mount etna from our exceptionally clean and stylish room was exceptional. the property's location was marvellous and stunning, right next to the bus stop.

The property's location is exceptionally nice and incredible, just off a restaurant, historic church, and fortifications. If you plan to visit a medieval palace because it's a 15-minute walk away, consider staying here.

We loved the stunning views of Etna and the bay from the balcony, perfect for backpackers looking for a memorable experience. Walking distance to Taormina with amazing views along the way. Free street parking available nearby. Lovely church, restaurant, and coffee bar nearby.

Felt incredibly well taken care of, no complaints whatsoever.

This hotel at the top of Taormina on the way to Castelmola is fantastic for the view of Mt. Etna. The location was even better than we expected, because it is away from bustling streets in the centre. The rooms had a little balcony and was very quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. The service from the staff was excellent, and they made sure that all our needs were met. Moreover, the basic amenities provided, including a fridge and air-conditioning, were great additions to our room. The huge wrap-around balcony with a sea view and a view of Mt. Etna was breathtaking, and we enjoyed spending our evenings there. The breakfast, although consisting of packed croissants and cakes from the supermarket, was delicious and satisfying. They also provided a variety of fresh fruit, yoghurt, toastie, and good coffee.

All in all, everything was okay and met our expectations.

Great location with fine views and a peaceful atmosphere. Clean and tidy rooms with lovely balconies. Good breakfast options served by friendly staff. Parking available and a restaurant located next to the hotel.

Oh, so charming that all guests, including children, must be present at check-in. Nothing like a room full of screaming children to relax, right?

A breakfast spread that provides a perfect start to the day is included in the package you take. the Hotel also offers a parking facility that is a welcoming change in the city that's packed with vehicles.

The internet connection can be slow at times, which may be an inconvenience for business travelers.
